Someone reportedly threw spaghetti leftovers and flour on a parked Ford Saturday morning in the 1800 block of Sayers St.

Lufkin police officers arrested Michael Andrew Phillips, 27, of Lufkin, for lying about his name and a parole violation warrant early Saturday.

Officers arrested Shane Darmez Johnson, 31, of Lufkin, for public intoxication after he was found passed out in the roadway after smoking marijuana early Saturday morning in the 1200 block of Nesbitt Ave.

A wallet with $60 in it was reportedly found in the parking lot Saturday afternoon in the 2900 block of Brentwood Drive.

Officers arrested Dexter Lee Murphy, 34, of Lufkin, for possession of drug paraphernalia after a small baggie of marijuana was discovered during a traffic stop Saturday night in the 100 block of Kurth Drive. According to jail records, Murphy has warrants for two counts of no insurance, expired license plates, driving with invalid license and no driver’s license.

Officers arrested Christopher Charles Hunt, 20, of Burke, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to have several baggies of marijuana. According to jail records, Hunt was also charged with unlicensed carrying of a weapon.

A man reportedly attempted to enter a woman’s house to assault her son Sunday morning in the 3200 block of Old Union Road.

The Lufkin Police Department made five arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Charles Andres Brunner, 29, of Lufkin, warrants for speeding and no insurance; Emily Elizabeth Patterson, 27, of Lufkin, warrants for two counts of no driver’s license, speeding and unrestrained child under 8 years of age; Carl Edward Albro, 29, of Lufkin, no driver’s license warrant; Lawrence Edward Young, 35, of Lufkin, warrants for two counts of speeding, four counts of no driver’s license when unlicensed, four counts of no insurance, display expired license plates, two counts of public intoxication, truancy/parent contributing to nonattendance and violating promise to appear; and Christopher Aundree Brice, age not available, of Lufkin, speeding warrant.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Jeffery Alan Dixon, 39, of Broads, expired vehicle registration, no insurance, no driver’s license when unlicensed and warrants for no insurance and no driver’s license when unlicensed; Rachel Paige March, age not available, of Lufkin, minor in possession of alcoholic beverage; and David Harold Jackson, 31, of Lufkin, assault.

The Texas Department of Public Safety made three arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Patricia Butler Elliott, age not available, of Lufkin, driving while intoxicated/open container; Albin Egidio Miranda-Valesquez, age and town not available, driving while intoxicated/open container and ICE hold; and Christopher Eldred Rodger, age not available, of Lufkin, driving while intoxicated.

The Diboll Police Department arrested David IV Reppond, age not available, of Conroe, for disorderly conduct/language.

The Angelina County Jail housed 203 inmates as of 3 p.m. Sunday.
