The Diboll Police Department is searching for a woman accused of intoxicated manslaughter in the death of a man earlier this May.
Kila Leann Janes, 22, is wanted on charges of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault, according to a post from Lufkin Crime Stoppers. A money reward is available for the anonymous tip that helps locate her.
On May 7, Janes was the driver in a Diboll wreck where Clinton Earl Holman was found unconscious and pinned between the vehicle and a tree at Hines and Ballenger at 3:20 a.m. Holman was pronounced dead at 4:07 a.m.
Janes and her rear-seat passenger, Nicholas Phillips, were transported to CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial for treatment. Janes appeared unconscious at the scene and Phillips was trapped but conscious when officers arrived.
The Crime Stoppers post notes Janes may be living with family in Lufkin and working as a convenience store clerk.
