TWC trying to help vets put military experience to work in civilian world

Texas Workforce Commission chairman Tom Pauken released a statement last week following recent media reports about the difficulty returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan face in finding jobs as they transition to civilian life. Pauken said the TWC is addressing that issue in a number of ways, and that the state of Texas is leading the way in assisting returning veterans by developing programs that will put their military experience to work in the civilian world.
