Lufkin’s PACE program offers advanced education for kids

Meeting for parents of prospective gifted and talented students is Feb. 24

Students who started in the Lufkin school district’s PACE program in kindergarten have gone on to be co-captain of the cheerleading squad, captain of the drill team, basketball stars, homecoming queen, and of course, successful academic students, according to Dunbar Primary’s PACE coordinator Jamie Mahan.
