An elderly man reportedly broke a bus mirror with his cane and cussed a bus driver Thursday afternoon after the driver told him he would have to wait for another bus outside a Lufkin Mall bus stop.

Abra Nicol, 25, was arrested Thursday afternoon on a charge of public intoxication after being found sleeping in the road in the 700 block of Nathan Street.

Rodolpho Cantu, 57, of Diboll, was arrested Thursday night on a traffic warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia-marijuana after reportedly passing out at a gas pump in the 1000 block of South John Redditt Drive.

A bottle of Strawberry Daquiri Boone’s Farm was reported stolen Thursday night from a gas station in the 1100 block of East Denman Avenue.

A Mazda Tribute was reported stolen overnight Wednesday in the 700 block of Shady Pine Street.

A credit card reported stolen in a vehicle burglary Thursday in the 100 block of Westchester Street was used at a Houston Walmart.

Two tail lights were reported stolen Thursday morning from a 2011 Ford F-150 in the 300 block of Champions Drive.

A dolly was reported stolen Wednesday from a storage closet in the 3200 block of South First Street.

A man reported being scammed out of money from someone in Jamaica Wednesday.

License plates were reported stolen Wednesday from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 300 block of Champions Drive.

A woman on Wednesday reported being harassed via phone by her ex-boyfriend during the last four months.  

A man reportedly choked his girlfriend Thursday in the 1200 block of Jordan Avenue.

A mini bike was reported stolen Thursday night from a storage shed in the 2900 block of Ford Chapel Road.

A computer was reportedly damaged after the owner gave a repair company permission to work on it Thursday in the 600 block of Sea Pines Court.

An iPhone 4s was reported stolen Thursday in the 800 block of South Timberland Drive.

The Lufkin Police Department made three other arrests late Thursday and early Friday. Arrests and charges included: Amie Williams, 33, theft and three warrants; Donrah Davis, 50, theft and four warrants; and Marshall Greenlee, 35, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, unauthorized use a vehicle, credit/debit card abuse, theft.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests late Thursday and early Friday. Arrests and charges included: Donna Rena Emerson, 51, two traffic warrants; and Christopher Carter, 25, no seat belt warrant.

The U.S. Forest Service arrested James Thacker, 30, on a no hunting license warrant Thursday.

The Angelina County Jail housed 223 inmates as of 3 p.m. Friday.
