A woman reported to the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday that her neighbor printed her Facebook photos and hung them on his wall.

Lufkin Police on Tuesday arrested a man who admitted to robbing The Muffler Shop of $335.

When an officer found Joshua Trapp close to the Timberland Drive business, Trapp began crying and told the officer, “I’ve done something bad,” according to an arrest report.

After being placed under arrest, Trapp admitted to robbing the shop and told the officer he was homeless with no money and didn’t know what else to do. He cried the entire time, according to the report.

A shop employee told the officer Trapp snatched the money from a cash box and had a large wrench in his hand at the time. The employee said Trapp never raised a hand at him and ran away with the cash, the report stated.

Trapp is charged with theft and possession of a dangerous drug for a bottle of five different types of pills found on him during his arrest, according to the report.

Police arrested Reginald Crawford, 46, of Lufkin, Tuesday after he allegedly kicked and beat his child’s mother unconscious outside Stephen’s Court Apartments on Denman Avenue, according to a police report.

When officers arrived, they found Crawford standing near the unconscious woman close to Apartment 23 and talking on the phone, according to the report. The officer heard Crawford tell the person on the phone, “I’m about to go to jail.” The officer then placed Crawford under arrest on a charge of assault/family violence.

The woman, who regained consciousness and began screaming about wanting their child, was taken to CHI St. Luke’s Memorial Health Lufkin with unknown injuries.

Police arrested Angel Diosado Jr., 23, of Lufkin, Tuesday after he allegedly stole $70 worth of hair straightener from Sally’s Beauty Supply. Officers arrested Diosado’s girlfriend, Claudia Perez, 21, of Lufkin, who was waiting for him in the car, after finding her to have warrants.

A wheel and tire were reported stolen Tuesday in the 500 block of South John Redditt Drive.

A man reported having $1,000 worth of tools stolen from his truck Tuesday in the 100 block of Briar Hill Road.

The Lufkin Police Department made four other arrests late Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrests and charges included: Roderick Baker, 42, of Lufkin, four traffic warrants; Kendra Smith, 23, of Lufkin, theft; Sashoun Brown, 24, of Lufkin, no insurance warrant; and Brishoya Perry, 24, of Lufkin, two traffic warrants.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests late Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrests and charges included: Thomas Baty, 43, of Lufkin, probation revocation; Xavier Reyes, age not available, of Lufkin, Nacogdoches County warrant for sexual assault; and Nathan Anderson, 33, of Cleveland, parole violation and judgments for possession of marijuana and fail to identify.

The Angelina County Jail housed 211 inmates as of 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
