A Masonic emblem was reportedly pried off a vehicle with its owner witnessing the act Monday afternoon in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive.
The owner stopped the suspect and got the emblem back. Officers later identified the suspect who told them he found the emblem on the ground. The owner decided not to press charges.

The Lufkin Police Department made five arrests late Monday and early Tuesday. Arrests and charges included: Raiford Durham, 28, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and expired license plates; Patrick Butler, 31, possession of a controlled substance and a parole hold; and Evangelina Vela, 22, probation revocation.
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made 11 arrests late Monday and early Tuesday. Arrests and charges included: Franklin Myrick, 42, assault/family violence; Carl Albro, 24, theft; Anthony Woods, 18, adjudication of guilt; AJ Bennefield, 23, credit card/debit card abuse; Rafael Soria, 20, adjudication of guilt; James Marsh, 47, warrant; Jahvincent Crain, 20, order of surrender; David Sterling, 20, interfering with an emergency call and possession of drug paraphernalia; Harold Kelley Jr., 36, public intoxication; Annette Lee, 59, DWI; and Wilburn Whitmill, 49, parole violation.
The Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Richard Taylor, 37, on a second driving while intoxicated charge Monday.
The Hudson Police Department arrested Janet Arvizu, 18, on nine warrants and a possession of a controlled substance charge Tuesday.
The Angelina County Jail housed 224 inmates as of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
