Someone stole furniture from a woman’s deceased ex-husband’s apartment in the 300 block of Lazy Oaks Street sometime between midnight Wednesday and 10 a.m. Saturday.

Someone stole a gun between 1 and 2 p.m. Friday in the 4200 block of South Medford Drive.

Someone stole a Ford Freestyle from the 400 block of Atkinson Drive sometime between noon and 1:44 p.m. Saturday.

Someone stole a commercial leaf blower Saturday in the 1800 block of Old Mill Road

Someone broke the window to a Toyota Tacoma parked at the Lufkin Mall, causing $3,000 worth of damage, in order to gain entry to steal a $600 Marlin rifle and a $150 speaker sometime between 6 and 6:55 p.m. Saturday.

Someone the homeowner knows forced his way into a residence in the 1400 block of Pershing Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday.

Someone stole an iPhone 6 valued at $150 sometime between 8:16 p.m. Saturday and 11:07 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Atkinson Drive.

Someone broke into a business and a Chevrolet truck in the 300 books of South Timberland Drive and stole a $30 Kobalt ratchet around 2:40 a.m. Sunday.

Lufkin police investigated a verbal incident in the 100 block of South John Redditt Drive around 2:43 a.m. Sunday.

Someone stole several cartons of Camel cigarettes, valued at $352, from a business in the 1900 block of East Denman Avenue at 3:41 a.m. Sunday.

The Lufkin Police Department made eight arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Demareo Antwone Robertson, 33, of Lufkin, warrants for leaving the scene of accident – vehicle damage, failure to appear and traffic violations; John Franklin Glenn, 52, of Lufkin, warrant for public intoxication; Cody Pack, 21, of Lufkin, public intoxication; Francisco Javier Llamas, age unavailable, of Borger, warrant for public intoxication; Juan Zuniga Jr., 40, of Lufkin, unauthorized use of vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia; Jeannie Kay Wilson, 72, of Lufkin, warrants for traffic violations; Shun Lacree Butler, 49, of Lufkin, warrants for public intoxication and traffic violations; and Seneca Cholla Mason, 32, of Lufkin, warrants for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shirley Gammons Young, 55, of Huntington, on warrants for theft and driving while license invalid.

The Texas Department of Public Safety made two arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: James B. Malinowski, age unavailable, of Pollok, two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Hunter Dewayne Huff, 21, of Diboll, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for speeding.

The Diboll Police Department made two arrests late Saturday and early Sunday. Arrests and charges included: Alexie Rojas, 28, of Houston, Harris County warrant for murder; and Floyd Anthony Durley Jr., 30, of Diboll, burglary of a building and a warrant for theft.

The Angelina County Constable Pct. 1 arrested Jason Allen Wood, 45, of Huntington, on a charge of driving while license invalid and warrants for traffic violations.

The Angelina County Jail housed 214 inmates as of 4 p.m. Sunday.
