Lufkin and Moffett Volunteer Fire Departments responded to an RV fire on Hubert Carrell Road outside of the Huntington City limits Wednesday morning.

Fire and EMS responded to the scene but nobody was injured. There was one person who lived in the RV but was able to escape before it was engulfed. There was little to nothing left of the RV when crews arrived.

A woman said she and her boyfriend had a verbal altercation Tuesday afternoon, when he threw a package of tortillas at her. He also threw a knife, but he wasn’t sure if he had thrown it at her.

A deputy responded to a disturbance between a couple in the 100 block of Cimmarron Road that turned physical.

A man said he found his freezer unplugged and extension cords missing, as well as several missing food items. He observed the extension cords laid out and leading to his neighbor’s residence to a small camper.

A man in the 6000 block of FM 58 said he found a shotgun in a ditch.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a sexual assault of a child.

A man in the 400 block of South Third Street threatened two people Tuesday.

A woman said her husband assaulted her Tuesday.

The Lufkin Police Department made 11 arrests late Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrests and charges included: Darryl Lamont Rolle, 45, of Lufkin, warrants for public intoxication and traffic violations; Linda Gayl Ibarra, 39, of Lufkin, theft; Terry Wayne Cannon, 32, of Fort Worth, warrant for engaging in organized criminal activity; Jorge Adrian Castellanos, age unavailable, of Lufkin, warrants for traffic violations; Jackie Ray Johnson Jr., 42, of Lufkin, public intoxication; Noor Khaled, 27, of Lufkin, warrant for assault/family violence; Gambino Marquez, age unavailable, of Lufkin, public intoxication and warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of tobacco, assault, failure to appear, failure to identify and traffic violations; Shaniqua Shata Murphy, age unavailable, of Lufkin, assault/family violence; Rebekah Middleton, 37, of Lufkin, warrants for tampering/fabricating physical evidence and a parole violation; Adrian Lucio Guzman, 21, of Lufkin, possession of marijuana and warrants for traffic violations; and Karen Ann Leggett, 49, of Bronson, warrant for diverting controlled substance by registrants, dispensers and certain other persons.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests late Tuesday and Wednesday. Arrests and charges included: Justin Lee Hayes, 27, of Huntington, warrant for unlawful disclosure or promotion of intimate visual material; Gregory Duan Miller, 37, of Diboll, warrant for sex offender’s duty to register; and Shun Lacree Butler, 39, of Lufkin, warrants for evading arrest with vehicle, abandoning/endangering child and possession of a controlled substance.

The Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Thomas Lee Foyil, 20, of Lufkin, warrants for minor in possession of alcoholic beverage and driving while intoxicated.

Pct. 1 Angelina County Constable Tom Selman arrested Laquianta Shareka Randolph, 28, of Lufkin, driving while license invalid and warrants for traffic violations.

Angelina County Adult Probation made two arrests late Tuesday and Wednesday Tuesday. Arrests and charges included: Terry James McMurry, 45, of Lufkin, warrant for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance; and Lesli Diane Davis, 48, of Lufkin, warrants for possession of a controlled substance.

The Angelina County Jail housed 208 inmates as of 4 p.m. Wednesday.
