A Crockett man was arrested on charges of littering and theft Friday night after he tore up a criminal trespass warning that police had just issued to him and threw it on the ground, according to a Lufkin Police report.
Maurice O’Bryant Peterson, 28, was a suspect in a disturbance at a store in the 2100 block of Southwood Drive, the report stated. After he was arrested, stolen health products worth $4.62, including curling mousse and Right Guard, were found on him during a search. He was booked into the Angelina County Jail but later bonded out, according to county records.

Fredrick L. Miller, 55, was arrested after making a fraudulent return to the customer service department of a store in the 4200 block of South Medford Drive, according to a police report.

Arrests and charges included: John Conner, 20, failure to comply as sex offender; Richard Taylor, 51, aggravated assault with deadly weapon and aggravated sexual assault; Chris Kintz, 40, public intoxication; Whitney Brown, 24, five warrants; Jose Castillo, 39, traffic warrants; Pamela Ritter, 49, disregarding a no-passing zone; Jerry Freeman, 31 traffic warrants and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Jim Johnson, 52, possession of a controlled substance.
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made four arrests late Friday and early Saturday. Arrests and charges included: Brent Perkins, 32, revocation of probation/driving while intoxicated; Sonia Salaiz, 24, theft and criminal mischief; Rhonda Finch, 42, aggravated robbery; and Chris Atkinson, 27, four warrants.
The Huntington Police Department made three arrests late Friday and early Saturday. Arrests and charges included: Billy Knight, 22, no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia; David Chesshine, 22, burglary; and Justin Jones, 19, theft, revocation of probation and criminal trespassing.
The Diboll Police Department made two arrests late Friday and early Saturday. Arrests and charges included: John Conner, 20, failure to comply as sex offender; and Amos Clary, age not available, six warrants.
An Angelina County constable arrested Gregory Roberson, 40, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and traffic warrants
