A woman called the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office around 5:30 p.m. Monday to report that a woman she knows threw vodka in her face at Annie Mae’s Club in the Cedar Grove area around 2 that morning. The victim said that the suspect used something to beat her car as she tried to drive away on Phil Jackson Road.

A father reported being punched in the head by her daughter’s ex-boyfriend while trying to break up a fight between the former couple Sunday afternoon in the 300 block of Morris Road.

Someone reportedly broke into a home and “messed with” a large safe Monday in the 800 block of Oliver Road. Nothing was reported missing.

An adult reported being bitten by a dog while riding a bike Sunday on FM 1818. The dog was taken to the pound for quarantine.

Deputies were called to a home in the 200 block of Richardson Road after a 17-year-old tried to break up a fight between a father and step-mom.

A husband and wife argued early Saturday morning after spending the night drinking. Deputies separated the couple for the night and no charges were filed.

A man reported having his Scag Cheetah Zero-Turn lawn mower stolen over the weekend in the 600 block of Westwood.

An air compressor with a 12-gallon tank was reported stolen from a home being remodeled Monday in the 600 block of Keathley Road.

 The Lufkin Police Department made 13 arrests late Monday and Tuesday. Arrests and charges included: Donnie Nash, 42, of Lufkin, traffic warrant and failure to appear; Christopher Cook, 26, of Lufkin, burglary of a building and warrants for no insurance, no driver’s license and theft; John Cook III, 30, of Lufkin, burglary of a building; Tracy Funderburk, 40, of Lufkin, driving while intoxicated; Galen Davis, 28, of Lufkin, order of commitment for DWI third  or more; Deedrick Renfro, 18, of Lufkin, public intoxication; Laricia Young, 28, of Lufkin, unrestrained child warrants; Esteban Garcia, 22, of Lufkin, public intoxication; Gregory Matts, age not available, of Lufkin, possession of drug paraphernalia and two traffic warrants; Elijah Reed, 24, of Lufkin, evading arrest; Rodney Wyrick, 32, of Lufkin, probation revocation; Larry Young II, 31, of Lufkin, four traffic warrants and three public intoxication warrants; and Christopher Graham, 33, of Corrigan, two traffic warrants.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests late Monday and Tuesday. Arrests and charges included: Kelly Ivy, 45, of Atlanta, bench warrant for burglary of a habitation; John Laws, 38, of Lufkin, warrants for possession of marijuana and no inspection; and Jeremy Freeman, 33, of Lufkin, prohibited substance in a correctional facility warrant.

The Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Ruben Black, 38, of Lufkin, on warrants for theft, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, no driver’s license, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

The Pct. 1 constable arrested McKenzie Bentley, age not available, of Nacogdoches, on a charge of driving while license invalid.

The Huntington Police Department arrested Justin Evett, 29, of Huntington, on a no insurance warrant. 

The Angelina County Jail housed 207 inmates as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.
