The man accused of shooting the side entrance to and entering Big Lots with a shotgun has been booked in at the Angelina County Jail.
Reagan Todd Horton, 48, of Lufkin, remained in custody at the jail as late Saturday. He faces three aggravated assault charges, one aggravated assault/family violence charge and a single charge of both burglary and stalking. Altogether, his bond is set at $82,500.
According to previous reports, Horton had been issued a criminal trespass warning at 4:45 a.m. Friday on his former girlfriend as she was arriving to work at Big Lots. He later returned at 7 a.m. with the shotgun and shot out the glass side entrance before entering the store and walking the aisles. One employee escaped the scene and called police, while the rest hid in the back in a locked room. No one was injured in the shooting.
Horton later fled in his truck, which the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office found at 7:48 a.m. on Tidwell Road in Burke. Deputies took Horton into custody after making contact with him.
Records indicate Horton’s arrest history in Angelina County dates back to 2008 and includes charges of assault, public intoxication and criminal trespass, as well as previous charges of harassment and stalking.

The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office made eight arrests late Friday and early Saturday.
Arrests and charges included: Chris Jerome Mitchell, 31, of Port Arthur, bench warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; Karen Kay Matlock, 29, of Lufkin, possession of drug paraphernalia; Caleb McRae Womack, 18, of Huntington, warrants for assault and no driver’s license; Alisha Kay Attaway, 21, of Lufkin, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with/fabricating pyshical evidence; Timothy Maxwell Bagby, 29, of Lufkin, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with/fabricating physical evidence and a warrant for bail jumping and failure to appear; Elizabeth Kay Pierce, age unavailable, of Lufkin, driving while intoxicated; Elaine Marie Weatherly, 33, of Lufkin, warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and walking with flow of traffic; and Xaviere Monte Gardner, 29, of Kilgore, failure to identify and warrants for assault/family violence and a parole violation.
The Texas Department of Public Safety made two arrests late Friday and early Saturday. Arrests and charges included: Robert Lee Conner IV, 23, of Lufkin, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license; and Samuel Joseph Rodriguez, 31, of Lufkin, warrants for a parole violation and traffic violations.
The Diboll Police Department arrested Anthony Curtis Little, 43, of Huntington, on warrants for resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, bail jumping and failure to appear, and expired driver’s license.
The Zavalla Police Department arrested Christopher Weathersby, 35, of Zavalla, on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary of habitation with intent to commit felony other than theft.
The Hudson Police Department made two arrests late Friday and early Saturday.
Arrests and charges included: Charles Michael Weston, 29, of Lufkin, warrant for assault; Jordan Wright, 24, of Lufkin, warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia; and Christopher Daniel Holeman, 35, of Diboll, assault/family violence.
The Angelina County Jail housed 226 inmates as of 6 p.m. Saturday.
