An aerosol can of deer urine was reportedly sprayed in an act of criminal mischief Monday inside Polk’s Pick-It-Up No. 14 in the 1000 block of South John Redditt Drive, according to a Lufkin Police Department report.
Three men were arrested Thursday on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity after being caught allegedly breaking a vehicle in the 100 block of Willow Brook Drive.
Dustin Irvin, 28, Kodie Pratt, 17 and Tyler Pratt, 18, were taken into custody outside the home, and the allegedly stolen property including a Weedeater and car stereo/CD player were recovered, according to a police report.
Tyler Pratt was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug for substances he reportedly had on him at the time of his arrest.
Gas theft from a Budget rental truck in the 1100 block of East Denman Avenue was reported Wednesday.
A home in the 300 block of Dale Street was reportedly broken into Wednesday.
Lawn equipment was reportedly stolen Wednesday from inside a man’s carport in the 1200 block of Oleta Street.
Electronics including a 55-inch TV, Xbox and games were reported stolen from a home broken into overnight Tuesday in the 400 block of Leon Street.
The Lufkin Police Department made five other arrests late Wednesday and early Thursday.
Arrests and charges included: Whitney Menefee, 25, driving while intoxicated with a child and warrants; Adam Parrish, 30, Class C warrants and theft; Daisy Cruz, 25, theft; Jason Vardeman, 42, Class C warrant; and Michael Maldonado, 22, Class C warrant.
The Angelina County Jail housed 231 inmates as of 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
