EDITORIAL: How else could Lufkin Police officers have responded in case of man suspected of breaking into own home?

Let’s get this out of the way: The Lufkin Police Department probably made some mistakes in the way it responded to the reported threat of a burglar in Marco Sauceda’s home, seeing as how he was the only one who ended up pepper-sprayed, arrested and charged with a crime.
