DEAR JEFF: My mother recently died (she was not married when she died), and she didn’t have a will. She had three children, and one of my siblings passed away before my mother did.

Do the children of my deceased sibling inherit from my mother, or is it just split between me and my remaining sibling? Thanks, “Now What?”
