DEAR JEFF: I recently got divorced, and my fiancé and I would like to remarry as a Christmas gift to each other. How long do I have to wait after my divorce is final before marrying another person? Thanks, “All I Want for Christmas…”

Dear “All I Want”: Neither party to a divorce can marry another person before the 31st day after a divorce is granted. The parties divorcing each other can remarry each other at any time, without a waiting period.
