The Black History Month Celebration Art Exhibit is an annual show at Angelina College, said Le’Anne Alexander, gallery curator and AC art instructor. The show is open for community submissions, so local artists — no matter their skill level — had the opportunity to showcase their work in a formal setting. The theme of this year’s show is Black Resistance, which is being celebrated across the country.
