The Angelina County Commissioners again kicked the proverbial can down the road on whether or not to close William Womack Road after a heated discussion during Tuesday’s meeting.

All four commissioners voted to table the motion to close the road for 30 days so county attorney Cary Kirby can use the time to work out an agreement with the U.S. Forest Service. County Judge Don Lymbery vocally opposed the motion.
