Lufkin police arrested a 40-year-old man Tuesday after he fled on foot from officers who were responding to the 200 block of East Denman Avenue for a report of a man yelling and screaming, according to a report. Upon arrival, officers found Anthony James Wyatt, of Lufkin, near the intersection of Second Street and Kerr Avenue.

The officers told Wyatt to stop, but he did not and proceeded to run away, the report stated. The officers pursued him through an apartment complex, where he was Tased and taken into custody.
