Staff and students celebrate the ongoing mission of Visions Of A Master Mentor, a nonprofit, faith-based scholarship program for youth between the ages of 6-17, Saturday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The legacy of Sr. Master J.D. Olford was continued Saturday as Sr. Master Olford's ATA Black Belt Academy celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Visions Of A Master Mentor.
Visions Of A Master Mentor is a nonprofit, faith-based scholarship program for students between the ages of 6 and 17. The program provides an opportunity for interested, deserving and qualified students to participate in the art of Taekwondo and pursue the rank of First Degree Black Belt Decided. This program is meant to benefit students from socioeconomically deprived areas as well as at-risk students who cannot afford to pay the full price for the program.
