LDN Police Reports

A woman said a construction worker used her water without permission Tuesday. When an officer spoke with the worker, he admitted to filling up a gallon bucket. The woman believed he used more than a gallon of water. The water department reported to the officer that water costs $2.30 per 1,000 gallons, which means the value of water the construction worker used is about 23 cents.

Someone stole a chainsaw and television from a building in the 400 block of East Lufkin Avenue overnight Monday.

We listen to local police and fire departments’ scanner traffic, but sometimes miss crimes, wrecks, fires or other incidents, especially if they happen overnight.
