CENTRAL — With the wind howling and blowing out up on The Hill, and with two lineups featuring plenty of bat pop, Tuesday’s game between Diboll’s Lady Jacks and the home team Central Lady Bulldogs promised to be a slugfest.
But with pitchers Brenom Brown and Kayla Palomino facing off in the circle, the game instead turned into a nailbiter, with the Lady Dogs getting clutch hits and key defensive plays to hold off the Lady Jacks 3-1.
