SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The San Francisco Giants are expected to be missing two of the key members of their infield, including former Hudson standout Brandon Belt, when their season gets underway on Thursday night.

The Giants’ first baseman and former Hornets and Texas Longhorns standout is nursing a sore right heel while third baseman Evan Longoria has a moderate oblique sprain on the right side.
